Decent app for gays – Chappy - Gay Dating & Friends Review

Chappy isn’t bad as far as gay dating apps go. It seems to be a step above the hook up oriented apps like Grindr and Scruff, but not quite as great as Tinder, OK Cupid, and Bumble for me. It operates more in the same swipe manner like Tinder and Bumble, which means no one can message someone unless you’re a match. I love that feature as I usually receive quite a bit of messages from people on apps, and I’ve never been a fan of just anyone messaging me. The match signifies you are both have interest. I gave this an average of three stars, because the users on this app seem to be on the lazy side. They match and don’t message or message once then drop the ball but stay matched. I receive more engaging users on tinder and bumble. This may not be the case for you, but it is for me. Not sure why, but perhaps Chappy can consider some implementations such as automatically removing a match if after thirty days neither have messaged the other.
