Cats are not ever trash – Merge Cats! Review

I have been playing this game for a while and enjoying it up until I reach a point where I apparently have to throw a cat in the trash. What kind of awful horridness is that?!? No animal is ever garbage even symbolically in a game. I am disappointed and done. Ps- if there is another option to move on in the game, please accept my apologies but I was unable to determine another option.
