Beware $40 auto annual renewal with no way to cancel – Fotor AI Photo Editor Review

So I can’t comment on how the software works because I don’t even remember ever using it. Or loading it on my phone for that matter. But I must have because I sure was charged an annual subscription fee. That being said.... Be aware that you are signing up for a annual subscription with this app. I was charged an auto-renewal fee of $39.99 with no notification of the upcoming renewal. PayPal sent me a notification the renewal happened. I emailed the company to cancel and refund my money since I haven’t had this app on my phone for over a year. Was informed they don’t do refunds. This company’s policy is you have to notify them 7 days prior to the renewal to cancel a subscription. I went back and checked my email. No notification of an upcoming renewal. Just a notice I was charged the same day PayPal sent me a receipt. So if you don’t use the app how do you know it’s coming up and to cancel it? Well, you don’t. I’m not impressed and feel like I was ripped off.
