Really fun but it could use a little work – Avatar Maker: Pony Review

Not to hate on the app, because it’s really fun and I use it a lot and really recommend it, but it could stand a little improvement. Let’s start with the manes, I think that it needs some more hairstyles, like a ballerina bun, braid, or more styles based off the characters in the show. Another thing with the mane is that the messy style seems very flat and other styles don’t seem to fit right on the character’s heads, and we could use some more male hairstyles, you know, for the bronies. Also, some of the hairstyles don’t have a tail to match, I know that they were probably designed to match, but it seems like they don’t. On that note, the app could have a highlight option to put highlights in different positions in the mane and tail. Moving onto the eyes, I personally would like to see a few more eye shapes on the app, maybe repeats of the same shape with the pupils of the eye looking in different positions, so that they could be looking forward or to the sides. I saw in another review that Daughter of a Genie posted that they would like to be able to design their own cutie mark. I would also like this to happen, and maybe you could let the users change the color schemes to make it unique. I also agree when she suggested being able to change the height and age of the pony to better suit the character, that way you could have a whole community of pony characters. I would appreciate if there were a few more outfits and accessories, and if the user could change the colors of them to suit their character better. The last thing that I can think of being a problem is when you go to change the color, the little bar can be small on a phone and hard to access. If the creators would spend a little fixing and adding these that would be wonderful. Thank you!
