Oh well! – Superfall Pro Review

I wish they would tell us when an update would be useless with iPod 3, so we can keep the older version that still works. Why can't the devs offer an option during the install process: "This app has been updated for the benefit of iPod/iPhone 4. Would you like to proceed with the install?" Or even offer choices during the process,: "Select your device --iPhone...iPod...iPad. Select your generation--1G...2G...3G...4G. Select your ios-- ios3...ios4.0...ios4.1... then proceed with the install. This would have two benefits. The correct version would be installed, and it will remove the app from the AppStore update screen (which is yet another peeve, but it's a gripe with the app store). Oh well. There are several more out there that are just as good or better. I also have an iPhone, but it's my personal policy to refuse apps that don't work on the iPod. If it's happened once, they've lost my loyalty. What's that saying? "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me"? I'll keep in installed on my iPod just in case they offer an update fix. But I haven't seen an update yet that resurrected a crashing app. Oh well. It was a dollar when I got it, and nothing lasts forever. So I'll look at it like a carnival arcade booth. It was challenging and fun, but the game's over. Point me to the roller coasters.
