Great free app. Problems with latest upgrade fixed. – eBird Review

A great app for entering checklists on your birding trips. It creates a list of expected species for the location which makes it much easier to isolate what you are seeing. It shows statistical info comparing your listing to previous years by county, state and country which is a fun feature. I see concerns about privacy in reviews but eBird allows you to have anonymous ids if that is a concern. That is not specific to this app. There were problems with a recent release which broke the checklists but that seems to have been fixed on both my iOS devices. The developers respond fairly quickly. This is a great free app although if you like it maybe consider contributing to eBird to fund future development in their platform. It produces useful information to scientists at a time when bird populations are plummeting.
