Laggy and unusable – Video Stream for Chromecast Review

Ok so I downloaded the app a while ago and I’m really disappointed. I hooked it up to my Sony TV with latest Chromecast and finally got it to connect after much struggle. Even after connecting to tv, the performance of this app is poor to say the least. 4K videos play with so much lag and sound does not work properly. It also doesn’t support all video formats apart from some popular ones like mp4 and mov. Web videos are not detected. I tried with many YouTube video links and some anime websites, same result. It’s not working as advertised. I’m sure there are other people with same issues so when will this be fixed.??! I’m going to uninstall the app because it doesn’t match my expectations and I hope you improve the app and at least make it usable in future. Thank you.
