Don’t bother! – PicsArt Video & Movie Maker Review

App could barely get past the bombardment of demands for permissions to access everything needed that you would expect a photo/video app to require before things started looking down for the product. The requests stumbled over themselves to the point that one got removed until I tried to access my phone’s photos, where it had a third (yes, third) chance to ask for my permission. I proceeded to select the photos I wanted to turn into a small video slideshow but it literally took the app over 20 seconds to access and load each photo, one pic took almost a minute! My phone was not using low power mode, so I cannot fathom what could have taken the app so long to access the pictures. After being told when trying to select an 8th photo that 7 was my limit, I clicked on the area at the top right to get to the next stage in the process... and after all that waiting and approving...and only being allowed 7 pics...the app straight up crashed. No warning, no nothing. It kinda hesitated for a half a second like it just decided it wasn’t going to even bother and said nope straight to my home screen. Save yourself the time and aggravation and find yourself a better app...there’s gotta be at least a dozen.
