App freezes and I can’t open it – LEGO Batman: DC Super Heroes Review

I just purchased the game for my son two nights ago and the app froze and now I can’t get past the blue bubble screen. I’ve tried restarting the app, I’ve tried deleting and then downloading the game multiple times. I already spend the initial $4.99 to purchase the game and another $4.99 to purchase special characters and now that’s practically money wasted.
