The songs are 99¢ which is understandable because they contain the music (which can be up to $1.29 per song on iTunes), plus the extra programming effort to build the moving words and letter cues for karaoke. You can sing into your mic and hear the music and your voice in your ear buds. Or, plug it into your stereo and sing along! So this is exactly like having a karaoke machine in your pocket. The song store is easy to use, and you can add your own if you already have them. So think about those negative reviews - it is simply not realistic to get all the karaoke tracks for free.
