Wish I could give more stars – Happy Park™ - Best Theme Park Game for Facebook and Twitter Review

Update: bad certificate & thinks I have no internet when I do. I’ve been playing for years, so this is disappointing. ———————————- I'm an adult in my 40s. My husband and I develop websites & apps, & he writes technical programming books for publishers like O'Reilly. I am also a gamer girl who goes to San Diego Comic-Con every year. This is context for this review. I started playing this game with my stepdaughter. I send her photos of how my park is progressing. I find this game generally pretty engaging. I am old enough to be an early-adopter SimEarth, SimAnt, & original SimCity player. I enjoy creating little microcosms. However, this game has just released an update that further exacerbates what I hate about it, and that is its mid-2000s mentality about forcing you to badger everyone you know in order to succeed. I am not a little kid, and I do NOT want to be hounded incessantly to SPAM my coworkers, family, & friends via email or Twitter or Facebook! It's so lame & terribly unprofessional. It was bad enough when I had to decline once per log-in, but now there is a distracting flashy box that purports to provide a free spin, but actually extorts the user to SPAM Twitter & Facebook in order to spin! & it cannot be disabled. How tedious! They should instead take a page from the Bejeweled playbook & offer a genuine free daily spin, but then go further, adding an option to post to FB/Twitter when one wins something meaningful. As a developer, I also fear my gaming time with Happy Park will soon conclude because I have maxed out my in-game mascots, so unless there is another way to maximize population without spending REAL money, I'll have exhausted the game within a couple more weeks. That's a bummer, too.
