Plagued with bugs and crashes. – Slide for Reddit Review

I would avoid this app. I experienced numerous show-stopping bugs and constant crashes which made the app unusable. Here’s my experience trying to use this app for the first few minutes after installing it: - crashed every time I change orientation from portrait to landscape and vice-versa - attempting to unsubscribe from one subreddit caused the app to unsubscribe me from ANOTHER DIFFERENT subreddit, and then backing out of this menu caused a hard crash. Like, imagine you want to unsubscribe from r/pics, but doing so deletes r/news from your list of subscribed subreddits. And then when you say “What the F?!” and escape from that menu, the app crashes. - the app lets you activate night mode between certain hours of the day. Fine. But the little selection window where you choose what time to activate and deactivate night mode lacks a ‘AM’ and ‘PM!’ So you have no way of knowing if you’re telling the app to turn on night mode at 7 at night or 7 in the morning. I’ve been using iOS devices for going on 11 years and this is probably the most bizarre bug I’ve ever seen. - when I did change this particular setting (turning automatic night mode on and off), the screen went completely blank, with the only option being to go back to the previous menu. And then doing THAT causes another hard crash. Wonderful. And this is all after I paid $5 for the in-app upgrade which unlocks (among other things) the automatic night mode thing. So I couldn’t even experiment with that particular feature because it was locked behind a paywall. And then after I paid, I found out that that feature is too buggy to use. Very distressing. Like I said, I’ve been using IOS apps for more than a decade and I don’t think I’ve seen such a messy, unfinished, buggy, unstable app. Do not buy this app.
