Bummer – Dungeon Defense HD Review

The new portal map adds nothing to gameplay compared to the original, definitely not worth $2. It feels like it was made as a cruel joke to those who have played the original and have been waiting for an update. That's why they don't show it as a screenshot. To describe the map, its like a mini pac-man map with a single choke point near the top and evenly spaced tower summon points, your units cannot band together, it becomes more of a random one on one battle at each summon point. If unlucky the enemy breaks to the right and if your defense is built on the left, you are screwed. Vice versa, if you build on the right and the enemy breaks to the left, you get screwed. Two thumbs down. This is a final warning, heed it or not, it's up to you folks.
