Great for beginners – Family History Search - How to Find Family You Never Knew You Had Review

If you are a beginner in your family genealogy, then this is a good app. It tells you where to start and what things to look for first. However, if you have been working on your family tree for any length of time, this app won't help you at all. I read the entire content in a little over an hour one evening. I don't call myself an expert in genealogy, in fact I'd tell most people that I'm really just beginning. But I found that almost everything here was something I'd already encountered in looking for family history. There are basically just the first 2 settings as shown above. The More icon gives you a very long list of other apps you might be interested in and the promo doesn't give you any additional help on genealogy either. They're both used for as links to other things to buy that don't have anything to do with genealogy. Basically what you see listed is what you get.
