Pricing Overreach – Pocket Pharmacist Review

At what point will developers learn not to price themselves out of business (or in this case, deletion)? From .99 for a paid app, to a subscription-based .99/month or 9.99/year. Out of nowhere, without warning. For an app that I might open up a few times a year. Money grab, much? I’ve read the dev’s responses — pay up per month when you want to use it, then unsubscribe, then subscribe, then unsubscribe, rinse and repeat. No — how about pricing an app according to its usefulness without leaving your customers feeling gouged. The most I would pay to continue using this app is a yearly subscription of 2.99. Anything above that — well, you can take your over-inflated app and consult a proctologist to have it removed.
