Pointless without Pro account sync between devices – Summit: Daily Planner Review

I really like this app as far as a daily planner. Great features, like the drag & drop organization, custom grouping, and the ability to add sub-tasks to a given task. All that said, I’m going to have to find another option because the app does not sync between iPhone and iPad. Even though I can load the app onto both devices and get the pro version on both through my Apple ID, it’s like having two independent planners. I don’t sync my any personal or office calendars with the app because I want to use it as purely a personal task management reminder system for work-related tasks. I don’t want my personal calendar/tasks cluttering it up and I don’t want formal work items on it, just my reminders-to-self. That said, I need a system I can view items and receive notifications on both phone and iPad, so unfortunately, this app is useless for me so I’m going to have to cancel. The description says the Pro version will sync via iCloud but it doesn’t work and I’ve tried for months and I’ve tried MANY times, including re-downloading on each device & re-designating the primary account (in various orders between devices) but to no avail. I would highly recommend adding/fixing the ability to sync Summit Pro accounts between devices, and not via the third-party calendar sync, but simply through the app account itself. This is a pretty standard feature (requirement, IMO) these days. If you can add/fix this feature, I’d be happy to revise this review and give 5 stars.
