Love it! Online needs to eliminate the “X” – Carcassonne Review

This adaption of the board game is simply stunning. Love playing the computer characters. My gripe, and it brought my review from 5 to 3, is when playing a one-on-one over the Internet versus a real person, the preview that shows you if your move will block the opponent has created awful gameplay. When I play the same people live, this doesn’t happen and the game flows. With this feature, more time is spent seeing how to trap meeples on the board leaving the game play empty. When I react equivalently, you end up with 30 pieces to play without either person laying a meeple. Not fun. MAKE THIS AN OPTION FOR THE GAME ... and I’ll change this from 3 stars to 5 stars.
