Changed phones and lost data – JotNot Scanner App Review

I’ve had this service for years. Changed from an iPhone 5 to iPhoneX and all my documents were saved. Changed from an iPhone X to an XS...No problem. Changed again a month ago due to an iPhone problem and now I lost all my documents. It looks like you have to pay now to store documents in the cloud. If this is a new change then they should have alerted all users. I click on settings now and it says that I have to upgrade to Pro to use features that I have been using for years!
