Can’t reach customer care via AppleTV 4K app... – Gods Of Rome Review
The customer care feature
Gods of Rome > Options > Customer Care
has never worked.
I select it. There’s a welcome screen offering three choices:
[Cancel] [FAQ] [Contact form]
There’s a menu list of issues:
Purchase Issues
Download/Install Issues
Connection Issues
Crash/Freeze/Loading Issues
Gameplay Issues
Progress/Items lost
Bans/Cheaters
So far, so good...
When I select the specific issue I’ve been having for the last 15 days I get a “Sub-Issue” menu list:
Quest/Mission Issue
Event Issue
In-Game Reward Not Received
Guild/Faction/Legion Issue
Leaderboard Issue
Graphics Issue
Other
Pretty fancy — you’d think!
But then, when I select my particular sub-issue, I’m asked to answer a bunch of question that lead to NO resolution... I’m asked to enter:
Date of Download MM-DD-YYYY [continue] ✔️
Full Name [continue] ✔️
Email Address [continue] ❌
It does not matter how many times I fill out the questions, the form does not submit pass the email address screen...
I log out and back in. Nothing changes. I restart my AppleTV. SAME thing all over again.
I can’t play Special Events because the game continues to display the error message:
“WARNING — this event is Finished. Look for new events starting everyday!”
It’s been like this for 15 days already! FFS#%*!!
How am I supposed to advance my fighters if I can’t get any nectar because I can’t access special events?
This game no longer brings me any joy.
A shame really. It has potential. But I believe the developers do not really care about the customer’s experience during gameplay.
Just like they still haven’t fixed the issue with their other title, MC5.
Perhaps one day, some clever engineer might even fix the bugs.
Until then, I think I’m done spending money with Gameloft.
