File broken or not supported on Mac – VideoShow PRO - Video Editor Review

I really like this app, I have been paying for the pro version for a short time. However since the last update, every time I try to import a video file from my photos, I get the message file broken or not supported. What is happening? Please address this Mac related issue. I am paying for the service and cannot open a video. Thank you
