5 Stars... Really..? – Smartsheet: Projects & Teams Review
I can create a simple to-do list with dates on the iPad. Can’t do the following, including creating dependencies which is really at the heart of project management.
CAN’T DO ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
Smartsheet Items
Create or modify forms
Create or view custom templates
Create new sheets from custom templates (only templates made by Smartsheet are available)
Create or modify Reminders and Alerts on a sheet
Create new sheet filters or edit sheet filter settings (note that you can apply or remove filters configured from the computer browser version of Smartsheet)
View Activity Log
Create Update Requests from a Report
Open the published version of a Smartsheet item with the app (note that you can still open published items with the mobile browser)
Move sheets, reports, and dashboards into or out of folders and workspaces
Print the Calendar view
View and download workspace-level attachments
Import new sheets
Attach items from Google Drive
Dashboards: interact with the web content widget (these items will appear as links when viewing the widget on mobile)
Sheet Dependencies
Edit End Dates of dependent tasks
Edit Start Dates of dependent tasks if driven by a predecessor
Create, modify, or view Resource Views
Jump to today's date setting in the Gantt chart (this is ignored even if it's enabled from the desktop version of Smartsheet)
Rows and Columns
Apply formatting (examples include: background colors, bold text, currency, and percentage)
Automatically highlight changes
Create or edit formulas
Freeze columns
On a Contact List column: check or uncheck the box for Allow multiple contacts per cell (note that if multiple contacts per cell has already been enabled from the desktop version of Smartsheet, you can type multiple contacts in a cell while using the Smartsheet mobile app)
Account and Plan Settings
Make changes to your personal profile
Edit payment information for or cancel a paid subscription (you can do this by signing in to the computer browser version of Smartsheet)
Manage user accounts in a multi-user plan—see Manage Users in a Multi-User Plan for more information
Transfer ownership of sheets
