Unimproved Update – Newsdesk Review

Still no landscape view in the long overdue update?! Big changes for iPad, but still no effort to make the tiny screen of an iPod or iPhone readable? Five-star selection of articles and one-star design and usability. Prior Review: Okay, But Could Be Better I use this daily to skim the news, despite problems refreshing. Built-in Web browser is useless because the text is too small to read. Should either eliminate it, launching Safari for every article, or add landscape mode. Fortunately there is a button to switch to Safari, but since that's always necessary it just adds an extra step. Gotta kill the daily article from The Onion! It wastes space and discredits Newsdesk. I may stop using this after setting up RSS feeds in other readers.
