Good game so far, but needs tweaking – GT. Racing 2 Review
UPDATE, 2018:
Please update the game for 64-Bit support, that way it can run on iOS 11.
Original Post, 2014:
The braking feels kind of sluggish, upgrading takes too long once you get past a certain point, and it is too hard to progress at a decent rate once you get to C class. Also, interaction between people in a team is not the most efficient; people rarely seem to use the "Ask for Help" function and when it is used there is rarely ever a response.
What I would like to suggest:
- Reduce the time to upgrade vehicles by a decent percentage.
- Make the "Ask for Help" system automatic.
- Give team members the ability to send credits and possibly even racer cash to eachother.
- Make it possible to "pause" upgrades so that you can have your mechanics work on other things, and then resume the paused upgrades later.
- Make it possible to "queue" upgrades so that when one upgrade is done, the next will automatically begin; great for people who can't be playing all of the time.
- Allow players the option to recruit new mechanics with credits instead of race cash
- Make the braking less sluggish.
- Change some of the corners on some of the more difficult tracks to banked corners.
- Add an achievement (or multiple achievements) to reward players for helping others.
- Change the multiplayer rating to only lower when you QUIT a race, not when you lose. Not everybody plays fairly.
- Change "qualification" to last for multiple laps, and to not instantly disqualify you when you run out of time. Adding ghost data and a "lap record" system would also be cool, since it would make the races a little more competitive between players without actually being multiplayer.
- Add more types of upgrades; for instance, tires. These new upgrade types should be optional, but still useful nonetheless.
- Change the car packs to give you either credits or race cash if you already own a car included with the pack.
P.S.: Where did the first GT Racing go?
