Landscape orientation for 12.9” iPad Pro didn’t work – Jamie's To Do Review

I use my 12.9” iPad Pro almost exclusively with an attached keyboard, in landscape orientation. As with some other apps I’ve come across (and then deleted), when I opened this app, it opened in portrait orientation which, for me, is sideways. I couldn’t seem to find a way to use this app on my landscape-oriented screen. Wish I could’ve figured it out because it otherwise seems like exactly what I was looking for in a to-do list app.
