Some essential features, some real problems – GoodTask - To Do List, Tasks Review

GoodTask 3 is the first iPhone app I’ve found that provides sync with the native Reminders app, the ability to make mass changes and deletions including deleting all Completed tasks (a feature which Reminders should have, but doesn’t), and extras like integration with Siri commands and automatic lists and sort options (hint: if a glitch has caused mass duplication of tasks, use a custom alphabetical sort to find duplicates). The problems: 1) if you used links to pages in your Reminders, Good Task not only can’t handle them, but actually wipes out the active link in Reminders as well, leaving you the domain name to search from. All my “read this” and “try this” Reminders are frustratingly non-automated now, with NO WARNING. I contacted app support about this, and the response was to blame it on Apple— but a warning would have been good 2) it crashes frequently; I am working with Apple support on this since Reminders also crashes 3) When I’m doing bulk actions, the highlighting that shows which items are selected goes off and on, making it difficult to see at a glance what is actually still selected as I scroll down. 4) I begrudgingly consented to being charged $9.99 after the end of my trial period, admitting that a slightly annoying app that does some of what I want is better than nothing right now. I was charged ***$10.91*** with no explanation, and the receipt does not explain the extra charge!
