This app is not safe and customer support doesn’t care – Whiplr - Messenger with Kinks Review

I downloaded this app and was having fun with it, until someone I wasn’t interested in reported me for something I didn’t do (soliciting) maliciously. My app was immediately banned with no warning, no email notification, and no recourse. I had to contact them via Facebook to even get a response. It took 3 days. During this 3 days I thought my account had been hacked. I expressed as much and they were completely unconcerned. I was scared for the people I’d been talking to. When this was resolved (3 days later) I was told that my account was restored but I have a strike against it and if it happens again I’ll be banned permanently. So basically I got trolled with no investigation on the word of someone who was butthurt over being rebuked. Although I’m restored I’m being further punished for something I didn’t do. This isn’t a way to keep a community safe. I learned after researching that Whiplr keeps user passwords stored in a TXT file that can easily be hacked. So if you aren’t concerned about getting Doxxed by a troll with no recourse, go for it.
