Bad user engagement – WAAVE - Your Social Mobile Wallet Review

I went to purchase tickets to a show. I didn’t want to install this app nor was I interested in Waave. But, my ticket confirmation email stated my receipt is not valid for entry nor is there an attached ticket — as most user-friendly apps / products would provide. Instead, in order to get entry to the venue, I need to install this Waave app to show the ticket I purchased. Ridiculous. It’s added time to setup, install, login, and use for an app I didn’t want. To force customers to install an app is a lousy way of engaging people to your product and brand. It also speaks to the little confidence in the product value to users. Shady product.
