Cash grab and info collecting – Geekwords Daily Crosswords Review

First, before you even play anything in the app it tells you to log in using your Facebook. It has guest login but below that is a disclaimer that they can’t track purchases or progress unless you use your Facebook! Sounds like crap to me! I don’t even have Facebook anymore because of how much data they collect on you so I only see this as a convenient front in order to collect data on you as well. You can make a fricken game WITHOUT having your customer log into Facebook AND still be able to track progress and purchases without compromising consumer data. The devs just sound lazy or money hungry. Which brings me to my second point. You want people to PAY HOW MUCH?! Jesus Christ. I’m even more convinced that this is nothing but a blatant cash grab using pop culture and tv to lure people in. Can barely even play a stupid game without some sort of pay wall. I will be removing this app from my phone immediately! I may even wipe it from my download history. The amount of app developers that get away with this kind of stuff should be ashamed. I guess the money cow helps them sleep at night otherwise their conscience wouldn’t let them.
