Don’t use! – Amber ID Alert Review

Okay so after four years of getting calls to have an insurance sales man come out to my home (which yes, please send a complete stranger into my home when it is just the four young children and I, ah HELL NO!) they finally just emailed me a code. So I figure okay what ever I will look at the app and see if is what I am looking for. Download the app and can’t get past the start up to even put in my code. It keeps saying username already found. Tried 7 different usernames most of them are my gamer tag that I have never come across anyone having anything like it, some were Gaelic words and Gaelic is a mostly dead language so I am calling BS and I bet since they couldn’t sell their insurance for all these years to enough people they finally gave up and just let the app break down. Oh well, my paper copies that are in the kids’ personal file folders I have are more then adequate for the purpose of amber alerts. Oh and I did that with out any company selling me crap or even giving me anything. And as far as getting that to the police in the event of needing to put out an Amber alert, I guarantee if you take that file to your local police office they will be very fast and efficient at helping you out. Fingerprints, (update once a year, the kids think it is fun anyway) medications and allergies, a description of them (also updated at least once a year when you update fingerprints) and take a photo of them weekly on your phone or at least before going to any major events like the fair. Easy peasy and best of all NO PHONE CALLS!!!
