New LGTV —still isn’t working – Remote Control Smart LG TV Review

TV was purchased 7-8 months ago. New model. Connected to TV without much of an issue. Took a minute to register the fact that I had purchased the upgrade, but finally got that to work. The issues arose when I tried to actually use the app. Out of every single button or option throughout the entire app, the only one that worked was the YouTube app, but once you’re there, you can’t do anything since none of the other buttons work. The remote doesn’t work at all. The touchpad does nothing, keyboard does nothing. It seems like a well conceived app, aside from not actually functioning. I’m hoping someone reads this and has some wisdom that may help get it working. It really would be helpful, not to mention I did pay $5 for a working app...
