Much Better Than Safari! – IP Vision Review

I'm running a Sharx Security SCNC2607 VIPcella-IR wireless b/g IP-Cam for use as a crib camera and also a way for out of town relatives to check us out from time to time. (excellent camera, by the way). Before finding ipVision in the app store I was using Safari on the iPhone to pull up the cam here and there. Safari is workable, but I'm glad I spent the $5 on ipVision. The image quality is superior to what I was getting through Safari. Also, when in landscape mode, I get the entire screen filled in with this software, whereas Safari was still keeping the picture framed and it was necessary to spread the image out with my fingers every time I accessed it. Also a major benefit of use is not having to log in after cleaning Safari cookies. That was getting lame. This software allows me to access the cam through LAN and WAN. That's nice in case the landscapers cut through my Internet cable again this year. At least I can still pull up an image if I'm home. I'm looking forward to someday being able to stream the audio as well, after some possible future update. I definitely recommend this software. My wife even likes it and uses a copy on her iPhone as well. It's fun for the whole family ;)
