Turns reversed? – Robo Logic 2 HD Review

Aren't the turn commands reversed? The tutorial describes the turns as if they are from the robot's perspective: "turn me left." But the turns are actually from your own perspective: "turn him to my right." Otherwise, the concept is pretty clear. I need the puzzles to get harder a lot faster, though.
