It actually starts by threatening you – British Accent Training Cards Review

After reading all these reviews about the ridiculous number of ads and the guy with the Russian accent doing the British accent I was a bit hesitant to even try this app. So I hear the icon to start it And the very first thing that appears there’s a button at the bottom that says remove ads and at the top there is a countdown of 10 seconds before starting the app so people have a chance to remove the ads before the app even starts. The annoying Ness of the ads that follow this countdown has been documented well enough by other reviewer’s that I decided not to even bother and I closed it before the countdown finished. Even in other ridiculously ad soaked apps, they at least give you some kind of content or let you play level or do something before you start seeing ads and the whole aspect of giving you 10 seconds to pave to remove the ads before you start being bombarded with them feels like a threat to overwhelm you with ads if you don’t pay up. This is all before I saw a single screen that had anything to do with the app’s stated purpose. Apple screwed up in approving this app, it should be removed from the store. If this whole threatening with ads if you don’t pay for them before showing any tidbit of content is not already against Apple developer guidelines, it really should be. Don’t put up with this abusive behavior from app developers. Apple, remove this from the store! Seriously. I’m an app developer and sad that this passed review. You have higher standards than this. Developer, don’t have the first thing you show be a threat followed by a countdown to wasting their time, that itself is a waste of time and shows you only care about the ads and paying to remove them. You gotta put in something useful before you demand payment.
