Distance Meter Pro – Distance Meter Pro Review

This program works pretty well. I used it on my GS for a while. One thing I hate about this for my usage is it's screen locking mechanism. Once you lock it, you are to tap the screen three times to unlock. I tend to wear cargo shorts and put the phone in my leg pocket while I walk my dogs. It seems that the phone bounces around and unlocks on it's own, then the program stops without me realizing it. They should use the slide to unlock feature... My second major pet peeve is when I upgraded to the iPhone 4, I fat fingered the message box asking if the program was allowed to use my current position. I mistakingly put "Don't allow" which was my fault. The problem is that there is NO WAY to fix this. I restarted the program (other programs ask you each time you start up). I had to delete the program and reinstall it. This seems like a simply preference fix to me. I can't tell you how annoyed I was on this. Those are my two complaints. Other than that, the program works very well and I do like it for 3 bucks. If you don't fat finger it, and you have your phone on an armband, I'm sure you will not have the same problems I have.
