Had to get a refund – SkySafari 6 Plus Review

Don’t let my experience discourage you. This app is well made but I found there to be far too many buttons and settings for what it does. I expect efficient simplicity from an iPhone app; this reminded me too much of flashy filler-based android material. I struggled for several minutes as I waited for the app to properly sync up with my time zone. I then was very resentful of the default background area and controls for viewing a patch of sky. I feel that it should be going through my camera and providing an augmented reality environment and just having me move my phone around, perhaps with the way it is setup currently would make a nice optional setup. I ultimately decided to refund it for the price and the unnecessary complexity of the interface.
