Battle Spell – Onmyoji Arena Review

I don’t like how you can carry 2 battle spells. It really zeroes out any advantages between 2 different class of Shikigami. For example, mages do not have the best mobility. They often have a CC skill, but the CC Is either too short or the skill is hard to aim. As a result, mages do not always have the best option to escape a pursuit from a ninja(assassin) or samurai(fighter) class. Enters FLASH spell. It’s a battle spell that allows you to teleport a short distance to get to safety. Normally, because mages do not always farm/jungle, a mage player would pick a flash spell to assist them in escaping. While ninja/samurai class relies on jungle monsters, they rather use a subdued spell (makes it faster to jungle). As a result, mages would have a reliable escape from a pursue. But because everyone can carry 2 battle spells. Everyone can get a flash spell and another spell that assist them in battle. So now if a mage uses flash, the enemy can flash too. Since mages do not jungle, their second battle spell is almost useless in aiding them to escape, there is pace(speed boost) but just about all ninja/samurai class have some sort of mobility skill. A dash, speed boost, jumps, or just something to help catch an escaping enemy. A mage is sure to perish if they are not extra careful. I know I only say mage, but this holds true for some marksman shikigami as well. Overall, I find this game very unfair to mage players. Don't get me wrong, I still love this game and will continue to play it in the future. I just hope the developers take this into consideration when they make changes to the game.
