My hints just used themselves – Flow Free: Hexes Review

I had two hints left. Today they just used themselves. I was doing my usual puzzles and the last two flows (very obvious where they go as they're finishing a puzzle) just completed themselves and had check marks. Apparently my hints decided to use themselves. Then of course there was a screen asking me to buy more. H-no! I'm not buying hints if they're gonna use themselves randomly to complete my puzzles. Completing the puzzle is the best part. What the heck?!?
