Key feature not working – Gravitarium Live - Music Visualizer + Review

The app claims that it has beat detection via the Mic to react to sound or music. When activated, it immediately crashes the app. Developer does not respond. Has not been updated in over a year. I can’t understand how it is as high in the paid Music apps category as it is.
