Awesome Game. – Lost Portal CCG Review

I picked this up a week ago since it seemed like a decent solo card game to kill some time and I already finished the campaign, bought the first DLC, and am having so much fun! Just yesterday, another expansion comes out and I’m getting sucked back in again. —Gameplay— Better than HS, hands down, even with some internal luck involved with the leveling system. Good variety of cards and strategies. (Multi-color decks are so much fun) Card interactions with discarding/summoning from the discard pile are fantastic. I find that some cards are simply better while others cost way too much or don’t have a meaningful enough effect, some are cards are downright OP within game, but there are limits to them and you have to get to that point in the game first, so all in all I’m mostly okay with the balancing. Occasionally you just lose if you’re unlucky and don’t draw enough Aeon cards, but there are enough draw and resource mechanics to prevent that form happening. Give it a try if you haven’t- I’m just being overly critical.
