Money grabber – War of Warship:Pacific War Review

I’ve been playing for over 3 years. Over all, a fun war game. Stress war game as many don’t understand that it is war. The chat system needs a lot of work. Too limited in the number of characters you can type/message. Same with the email system. More like a Twitter than a message system. The last 4 updates have been nothing but a blatant grab for money. 1. The trail system - your ships now have a trail as they go out. Means you have to “gem” them to their destination or they can be followed. Real money to do this. The trails also slow the game to a crawl if there are very many of them. 2. To advance, you need medals. You spend “gems” to get them. The percentages are all wrong. You lose more than you should according to their posted percentage. More real money lost. And the new medals are worse. 3. The fittings are worse than medals. To advance them, you have to spend $50-150 US dollars. The latest update is even worse. You have to pay $100-300 US dollars and lose all the time you spent enhancing lower fittings. No chance to gain the “advancement blueprints” in the game unless you spend the money. 4. Endless War is just that - Endless. It never resets to level 1. Everyone is stuck at one point and will stay there unless/until they gain power to beat the level they’re on. 5. The game is very slow. Everything is kept on the servers - this is good as it prevents the cheaters from hacking the game. It is bad in that everything has to be downloaded. Don’t every try to look at a busy City during the City Scramble event. The trails slow everything to a crawl. Not a bad game - as long as you’re willing to spend a LOT of money.
