Disappointed. Food should cook while you’re away! – Happy Cafe Review

I usually love these kind of games. I spend hours playing them daily, bouncing back and forth between them to keep them all going. I don’t even mind paying for a few gems if I really want to go quicker or buy something that requires them. Last night was my first try at it and at first, I leveled up really fast, earned fast money, bought some gems and had a good time. Yes, the stuff is stupid-expensive but whatever. I just don’t buy the tiles or fancy equipment. Maybe I will earn enough later in the game to afford them, who knows? And yes, it takes a ridiculous amount of time for much of the food and that’s annoying but that’s why bouncing between multiple games can work! I can go to each game, letting the time pass so that when I return, progress is made while I was away. But when you leave this game, the food stops cooking. That means, in order to keep the customers happy, I have to leave the game open the entire time. You can only watch people come and go for so long before getting really tired of it. Say you put on hot dogs, hamburgers, meat buns and then some of the fast cook items...I’m not going to want to waste my game time watching hamburgers cook or preparing chips over and over. For me, this was a fail.
