Eh. Used for about an hour so far, crashed 6 times for me. – TextCode Editor Review

I’m using this app for the sole purpose of editing an html file on my iPad because I’m stuck in a hotel without my laptop in Europe. The app is working, and allowing me to edit the file. However, I’ve only had the app for about an hour, maybe an hour and a half, and it has crashed on me literally 6 times thus far. So, if you are using this app,- make sure you back out of whatever you are working on often so it saves your work because if you don’t, you can lose it all! The first time it crashed, I lost 30 minutes worth of coding, which may not seem a lot to an armature coder,- but it is to someone who knows a code or two! After that, I started saving every few minutes, and the most I lost was 2 minutes worth of work. Stability seems to be an issue with this app with prolonged use. There doesn’t seem to be anything in particular that makes the issue happen, just the longer you use it, then it crashes it seems. I tried several different things to make it crash,- I thought maybe I was copying and pasting snippets that were too large or something like that (which the snippets were maybe 20 characters long if that) or that maybe I was using too many illegal characters. But nothing other that using the app for more than 5 minutes made it crash for me. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling it a few times as well. ??‍♀️
