Files download with a .ts extension – Total files pro Review

I use this app heavily since it enables me to do a lot of downloads and uploads as well. Recently,I have noticed that videos I download (from within twitter especially),come with a .ts extension,unlike mp3 or mp4. This makes such videos a hassle to upload or share. Any info on this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
