Bugs galore – Survivor Royale Review

Update July 6: I found out what was causing the crashing. The hair model on my character would never load properly, it would either look like a black hole or completely grey. If I stick a hat on her, no crashing. Go figure. The bots are still insane. I assume they’ve lost so many players that they have to pad their numbers (there are times when I’ll be literally the only human playing), but the AI could REALLY use some tweaking. Sometimes you’ll get pinned down by 10 or 15 bots at a time, which means you’re dead, do not pass go, do not collect 200 bucks. It’s very difficult when they only shoot at you, and not one another. Would be really nice if they came in waves no greater than four or so, to keep up with the “squad” theme. Interestingly, if you dive down you can see them walking across the sea floor like so many crabs. It’s hilarious and creepy. The auto royale bug of not being able to reenter cars is still present, alas. It’s a shame, since it’s one of my favorite modes. It doesn’t seem like they’re planning to fix it, though.
