Understand what it truly is. – Quidd: Digital Collectibles Review

I like Quidd. It can be fun, the stickers are useful in messaging. They give you coins every 4 hours. Awesome. But there is no value. These are all digital pics with a false value placed on them to create a feeding frenzy. Quidd owns everything. If you leave Quidd you can’t take it with you, even if you bought the coins to purchase it. Selling your collection, even off-site, is against TOS and you can get banned (and lose everything). I’ve been playing for a year and Quidd has increasingly become more about getting people to spend money, using their more popular fandoms like an ATM machine. They control how many there are in each set, or regurgitate a past set, slap an effect on it (holo, lightning) to keep the “gotta get ‘em all” mojo going. And keep you buying. When you send stickers to friends over messenger they don’t know, nor care, what edition or number it is. So have fun, but keep your real money in your pocket.
