Recording shortened! – Recorder Plus : Voice Recorder Review

After recording 40 minute interviews, and seeing that they have been saved, when I returned to transcribe, only 5 minutes or so were saved on each recording with the exception of one that had just over 14 minutes. Is there a way to retrieve my tapings?
