Nice app, good puzzles, great interface layout, lame ads/price – Nonograms CrossMe Review

Overall a great app. It works as it should and the interface is well designed. (I’ve had issues with other games with such small areas to touch and it be off or sometimes not click st all. This app doesn’t have any issues like that, so it’s smooth gameplay) The quantity of puzzles is enormous, quality is decent, I only actually have 1 con in this app and it is $$$. The cost to buy the app without ads is a bit high in my opinion, vs other puzzle games. This is of course an opinion but I believe the base cost should be 1.99-$2.99. Not $5. Also relevant to $$$, the only way to play more than the few puzzles you get at first, you have to either purchase the full app for $5, or watch an ad for each puzzle. That’s fine for large puzzles that take some time but when you have a run of short or easy puzzles, you’re watching ads for half the time it takes to do the puzzle. The good thing about this is that you can choose to view the ad, rather than having those random pop ups, so for that I am content. However, an additional issue of having ads means you cannot play the game without internet connection. Which for me means I can’t play it on breaks at work. I think the ads should be more for each page of puzzles. Maybe a 1min or maybe 3 30 second ads to unlock a page of puzzles would be more convenient and allow more offline gameplay. I’d prefer to watch a 5min ad to unlock the page then a 30 sec ad for every single puzzle. These cons are only that of $$$, and not about gameplay itself. The game itself is well designed and I do like it and I will continue to play despite the ads, but I will not buy it at $5. Should the price go down, or a sale happen, I will purchase the full game because I do plan to play it until I’m sick of looking at pixels. Lol
