Poorly executed but does what it says – Rain Stick Review

Well, I have raised the bar on this review (2 stars) because: 1. it does what it is meant to do (kinda of), 2. it sounds close enough to a rainstick (I've gotten apps that do a better job at that though: lots better), 3. it's free (and I'm deleting it off my ipod...) I really must wonder, though, how much time was spent developing this app. The graphics are awful. You can see the cropping around the rainstick, and the meter next to it is far from aesthetically pleasing as well. The volume for this is ridiculously low, I always have to increase my ipod volume next to max to use this app (when others don't require this). The response of the stick is delayed to the point where you can clearly notice it. The advantage outlined as being able to play it "even while listening to music" is a joke: you can play all your apps while listening to music unless the developer actually coded it to where it will turn the music off when you use that app or an instance within that app). I felt like giving it one star, but to be fair, since it functions, I'll give it two.
