App freezes? – Verses - Bible Memory Review

I love this app! I got it almost a week ago as it was recommended by my District Superintendent’s wife. I was really enjoying learning the book of John in the KJV and decided I wanted to go ahead and pay the $5 or so to get the ESV to memorize that instead. So I did, however, now that I have, every time I open the app, the app freezes immediately upon opening. I can’t scroll up or down or click on anything. I’ve tried completely closing out of the app and reopening, I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling, I’ve tried rebooting my phone altogether, I’ve tried opening while connected to WiFi, I’ve tried opening it on airplane mode, I’ve tried opening it using data rather than WiFi, and nothing seems to be working. I really would like to keep using this app, but I honestly can not recommend it if it’s going to lock up as soon as you put money into it... Edit: I took my rating down to one star because there’s also no way to contact them for help about the issue. Hopefully this bug is fixed quickly or else they really shouldn’t even offer multiple versions...
