Restore purchases button does not work – Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Classic Review

Using iPad 5th on ios11. I bought this game, then it went free and introduced ads. The restore purchases button does nothing, so now there are ads in a game I paid for. Unless, of course, I want to pay again! I won’t be changing this review if the issue is fixed, because I do not plan on installing the game again. This is a 1-star review forever. I am patient with all kinds of development issues, but have zero tolerance for having my purchase essentially revoked. Apple needs a more consumer-friendly refund policy.
